  1. Installation
  2. -------------
  3. Follow the installation procedures in the manual. You may need up to 75 MB of hard disk space to install Seventeen¬ Style Studio¬.

  5. Importing Images
  6. ---------------------
  7. For optimal performance and results, follow these suggestions when importing a picture in the Beauty Studio section.
  8. 1. Do not use high resolution files (200 dpi, 300 dpi and up) if possible. A standard sized photographic print with the picture of the face and shoulders at 72 dpi is sufficient. If you are encountering problems while opening a large picture, increase the application's memory allocation in the "Get Info" dialog.
  9. 2. Make sure that the orientation of the picture is portrait (vertical).
  10. 3. For best results the face in the picture should be:
  11.     a) evenly lit, with no harsh shadows.
  12.     b) facing the camera straight on (no tilt up, down, left or right).
  13.     c) no obstructions in the face area (hands, other people).
  14.     d) hair should be pulled back and behind the shoulders.
  15.     e) photo should be taken against a neutral-colored background.
